Im sure most of you are wondering whats new, since the 0.7 version of redsn0w was released not to long ago. Whats new? This release is now able to jailbreak the new iPhone 3GS. As you know, to reset the blackberry is the first step taken to overcome problems in Bblackberry. Here are some types of RESET BB. Hard Reset blackberry, blackberry Soft Reset, Double-blackberry soft reset . Usefulness of each reset varies ..
1. SOFT RESET Blackberry
to perform a soft reset blackberry press ALT + Right Shift (CAP) + DELETE
2. DOUBLE-SOFT reset Blackberry
Double-soft reset will stop all applications on the BB and almost the same as doing a hard-reset. Noteworthy is his timing.
Perform a soft reset as the number 1, the screen will be blank .. now is not a black screen, press ALT + Right Shift (CAP) + DELETE again .. The screen will blank again, and hold an hourglass will come out .. wait until the blackberries ready again.
3.HARD RESET Blackberry
to perform a hard reset is easy: Disconnect battery 30 seconds, plug it in again. BB will boot from the beginning.
Hard Reset is the first step if there is a problem in the network, software or hardware.
If you need your MEP ID, run this while the BB is connected to the computer!
One click and it's done!

Who may need it ?
Mobile engineers / reverse engineers / cryptoanalysts and forensic labs
Crypto Functions :
- Calculate CRC-30, CRC-32, SHA1, SHA2 (SHA224 + SHA256), MD4 and MD5 of any file
- Calculate AES, DES, TEA, RSA in several ways (ECD,CBC,CFB,OFB etc..)
- Bruteforce bytes to fit CRC-30 needed when qcsblhd_cfgdata.mbn was edited
- Extract Gzipped, LZW and LZMA data
- Generate AKey, FSC, SPC and SPC3 for several providers
- Decrypt and Encrypt any RSA-Message, including ASN-1 / SHA Signatures. (you can add publickeys to publickeys.xml)
- Generate RSA Private Key and create .pvk files
- Check firmware signature given Modulus and Exponent (for HTC and BQS mobiles)
- Extract information from .pvk files
- Search for algorithms in binary files (find cryptomethods + signatures) CRC8, CRC16, CRC32, MD4, MD5, SHARK, HAVAL, GZIP, ZIP, SHA1, ... and much more (you can add cryptosignatures to crypto.xml)
